jab suraj ki lali badhti hai, is dil me arman jagte hain
jab bhor bhor me chidhion ki baraten sajne lagti hain
tab ek chehra meri ankhon me har roj utar k aata hai
jo tum kehti ho ankhon se , wo is dil ko samajh me ata hai

jab deere dheere peher chade, suraj bhi tapne lagta hai
nange pairon ko jab is dharti pe angaron sa lagne lagta hai
wo mathe se hoke jab boond sine ko jati hai
fir sham ke intezar me ye manzar b kat jata hai

fir godhuli bela ati hai, suraj ki lalima thandi pad jati hai
bandh pulinde me armano ko sagar bhi so jata hai
intezar se bachne ko fir ye jag so jata hai
jo ankh khuli to dekha maine, ki subah ho jati hai

ऐ इंसान तूने गज़ब कर दिया, फूलों का भी मज़हब तै कर दिया ! गुलफाम बन के हम, गुलिस्तां से लाए थे एक फूल, महबूबा के लिए ले लाल, दोस्त के लिए पिला, अपने लिए सफ़ैद, और काले को तूने शमशान कर दिया! ऐ इंसान तूने तो गज़ब कर दिया.... हिन्द-ऐ-गुलिस्तां में फूल न खिले थे कभी पेड़ों की बिसात पूछ कर, पर जब उगे तो तूने उनमे भी रंग भेद कर दिया! ऐ इंसान तूने तो गज़ब कर दिया... रंग लाल हुआ तो हिन्दू, हरे को इस्लाम कर दिया, फूलों कि क्या औकात ही थी बगावती कसीदे पढ़ने की, तूने तो हम सब का भगवान ही अलग कर दिया! ऐ इंसान तूने गज़ब कर दिया, फूलों का भी मज़हब तूने तै कर दिया !! सुमित द्विवेदी 14 अप्रैल 2017 नई दिल्ली !

इस थोड़ी सी चांद की रोशनी में, हम दूर तक चलें भी तो कैसे। तेरे इश्क़ में मैं मोम सा बन के रह गया हूँ, बिन बाती के हम अब जलें भी तो कैसे। एक तुम ही तो थी अपनी, तुम्हारे बिना हम अब जियें भी तो कैसे। पर तुम्हे हमसे मोहब्बत भी तो न थी, तो फिर तुम्हे बेवफा हम कहें भी तो कैसे।

Be a Good Person but Don't Waste Time to Prove It.

In life it is important to be a good person, making an effort to help others and live life according to principles that are positive and uplifting. This world is tough enough as it is and if everyone made an effort to be a good person the world would be a better place. Humility is also a virtue as well and it should be something that you practice. If you spend your time helping others and alleviating suffering whenever possible then there is no need to prove how good of a person you are. This is a waste of time when you could be doing something more productive instead. If you are truly a good person you do not need others to praise you for it, your reward comes from inside and not from what others think or say. Instead of spending your time trying to prove that you are a good person to others you should focus on how you can make the world or the lives of other people better in some way.
